Bedroom, Dressing Room and En-suite
Dawn and Graeme liked the idea of creating a master suite, comprising of bedroom, dressing room and en-suite but weren’t sure if they had the room and extending wasn’t an option.
Graeme and Dawn’s journey started like most of my projects, with an Inspirational Visit.
Their daughter had recently got on the property ladder and flown the nest – leaving them with the opportunity for a dressing room. Dawn needed storage and loved the idea of turning their daughters bedroom into a dressing room, whilst updating their bedroom and en-suite.
The wish list was to create something different, they wanted “the wow factor”, a bath in the en-suite and an island in the dressing room would be amazing.

Taking a fresh look at the space as a whole, I designed a master suite concept – which combined two bedrooms and en-suite.
Dawn had ideas on colour schemes and knew what she wanted the room to feel like but wanted something that was ‘a bit different’, but wasn’t sure what that was. Taking the project further with a Design Package enabled me to present full concept boards, 2D layouts, swatches and samples – Graeme and Dawn they were bowled over!

Completion of the Design Package gave Dawn and Graeme, everything they needed to complete their project. Detailed drawings and layouts of the full design, a complete shopping list – from fixtures and fittings to dressings and finishing touches.
By seeing how much they could save by utilising my supplier and trade discounts on items along with my team of trades, the implementation of the design was cost effective and allowed them to relax and enjoy the experience. I love undertaking a project from concept to completion – watching the client enjoying the process.
Dawn and Graeme were so delighted with their beautiful sanctuary that their next project is already under way! Watch this space for an update!
