Lounge, Office, and Master Bedroom Makeover
Inspirational Visit – followed by full design and project management
Hayley, wanted to give her new home in Dunmow, Essex a makeover. We started with an Inspirational Visit, which included a one-on-one consultation with me to understand her vision and preferences.
Hayley wanted to transform her lounge, office and master bedroom into spaces that truly reflected her taste and personality. During the initial visit we discussed the full design service and next steps. She was looking for a luxurious feel in her bedroom, a functional yet aesthetically pleasing office and a lounge that complemented her existing furniture and art collection.
On my first visit, I took note of her art collection, including a piece that particularly caught my eye. This became the basis for the colour scheme in her lounge.
For the bedroom, Hayley had a clear vision of a luxurious retreat, but was unsure of what bed to buy. I suggested a luxurious bold headboard with smoked glass panels that would become the focal point of the room and recommended a dark textured wall behind it. To further enhance the luxurious vibe, I proposed pendant lights on either side of the bed.
In the office, functionality was a top priority for Hayley, as she spent a significant amount of time working from home. I suggested a comfortable ergonomic chair, a large, elegant desk, and functional shelving. To add a touch of personal style, I also recommended a unique light that represented her love of science.
I provided project management services to ensure that everything was executed as planned. Hayley was willing to move lights and switches to achieve her desired look, and I made sure that the work was carried out seamlessly.
The end result was nothing short of stunning. Hayley was thrilled with her new spaces and was grateful for my guidance and support throughout the process. She was finally able to relax in her luxurious bedroom, work comfortably in her functional office, and entertain guests in her beautifully decorated lounge.
